| dc.description.abstract | Studie předkládá výsledek pramenného výzkumu jednoho z nejvýznamnějších sporů o průběh hranice mezi Hradeckem a Kladskem, a to sporu mezi panstvím Frymburk (později spojeným s Opočnem) a Homole (Hummel) v 16. a 1. polovině 17. století. Text představuje aspekty teritoriální a hospodářské, popisuje praxi vytyčování a udržování hranic a na druhé straně jejich narušování, vedení hraničních sporů (přísaha svědků - mezní soud). Rovněž se zabývá váhou paměti svědků v posuzovacím procesu a konflikty, k nimž v rámci sporu docházelo. Dlouhý spor ukončený až po pádu rodu Trčků a konfiskaci jejich majetku určil průběh hranice na hřebeni Orlických hor v podobě, která odpovídá současné státní hranici Česka a Polska. | cze |

| dc.description.abstract-translated | The study based upon research into historic records introduces one of the most significant boundary disputes between Bohemia (Hradec Králové region) and the County of Kłodzko (currently in Poland): between the manors of Frymburk (later merging with Opočno) and Homole (in German: Hummel or Landfried/e) in the 16th and 17th century. The study clarifies which area was involved and presents facts concerning the practice of marking and renewing the border, including the displacement or destruction of border markings, the ritual of the witness oaths taken in the symbolical grave as part of the border law procedure, the memory of the subjects in the border area, and the tension and conflicts in contacts between the two sides involved. The protracted dispute was not settled until 1634 when the House of Trčka of Lípa died out and their property was confiscated. In 1636 the ridge of the Orlické Mts. was eventually determined to be the final border, and at present is the state border between Czechia and Poland. | eng |
