Problematika sídelního vývoje poté chronologicky sleduje jednotlivé, předem vymezené etapy dané především vznikem jednotlivých pramenů a aspekty vzniku nových usedlostí spolu s přiblížením skladby místní sociální stratifikace obyvatelstva a jejích proměn před zánikem patrimoniální správy. | cze |

| dc.description.abstract-translated | The study examines the settlement development of the village of Lochenice which was first documented in 1143. However, archaeological excavations prove that the site was inhabited much earlier. The first record of the layout of the village dates from the middle of the 15th century, when it consisted of a Meierhof and 6 tenant farmsteads. In the following centuries, the number of local farmsteads gradually increased, and shortly after the negative effects of the Thirty Years’ War, the village consisted of 45 farmsteads. The process of building new dwellings continued with varying intensity throughout the period under study, with the most dynamic growth occurring between 1730 and 1775. From the end of the 18th century, the building rate for residential housing declined, and by the mid-19th century the village recorded 124 buildings in the land registry. The village also experienced and recorded exponential demographic growth, which was sometimes temporarily affected by natural decline or emigration of the local peasant population. From the mid-17th century to the mid-19th century, the social stratification in Lochenice changed in connection with the ownership of estates with varying tax burdens. The original almost exact tripartite distribution of land between the tenant farmers, crofters, and cotters gave way to a significant decrease in the number of farmers and a quantitative increase in the number of crofters and cotters. These two groups accounted for more than 80% of all owners of local dwellings at the end of the period. | eng |
