| dc.description.abstract-translated | The paper deals with the interpretation of the story of Marie Červinková-Riegrová – Summer Dream of Life (Letní sen života) in the perspective of the perception of contemporary gender roles. The author violates the so-called family fireplace theory that draws clear distinction between women, who are in charge of the household chores, and men who are involved in social and professional life.
