| dc.description.abstract | Studie shrnuje současný stav poznání o konceptu Kristova a božího zákona u Jana Hus a kontextualizuje názory českého reformního teologa do pozdně středověké tradice. První část představuje prameny z let 1404 až 1414 a výsledky aktuálních odborných debat. Hus oba pojmy používá ve třech odliších kontextech: v morální teologii, metafyzice, a sociální teorii. Všechny tři aspekty jsou úzce propojeny, za nejvýznamnější je možné považovat morální teologii a aplikaci v sociální teorii. Druhá partie, ve formě případové studie, zasazuje Husovy názory do pozdně středověkého duchovní tradice. | cze |
| dc.description.abstract-translated | The presented essay summarises the current knowledge about Jan Hus’s concept of the Law of Christ and the Law of God. According to him, they were the only legitimate authority for church reform and this essay provides contextualisation to the late medieval tradition. The first part introduces relevant sources where Hus discusses the issue, i.e., theoretical works composed between 1404 and 1414, and revises recent historiography. According to Hus, the Law of Christ and the Law of God are synonymous. He uses and reframes them into three different contexts: moral theology, metaphysics, and social theory. All three contexts are closely interconnected, and the most important for Hus is the impact on moral theology and society. The second part, a case study, contextualises Hus’s concepts into the late medieval tradition. | eng |
