Pozornost bude věnována Setzweinově tvorbě nejdříve prozaické a následně dramatické, dále vývoji českých námětů v autorových textech. Studie přiblíží propojenost konkrétního motivu oběti a špicla v románovém a dramatickém ztvárnění. Následně bude představen literární styl autora a na základě konkrétních příkladů z dramatu Hrabal a muž u okna poukážeme na integritu individuálního stylu autora jak v tvorbě prozaické, tak dramatické.

<title>The effect of mediterranean diet on cognitive functions in the elderly population</title>

<description>The effect of mediterranean diet on cognitive functions in the elderly population
Klímová, Blanka; Novotny, M.; Schlegel, Petr; Valis, M.
At present, due to the demographic changes and the rise of senior population worldwide, there is effort to prolong an active life of these people by both pharmacological and non‐pharmacological strategies. The purpose of this article is, on the basis of the literature review of recent clinical studies, to discuss one of such strategy, i.e., the effect of Mediterranean Diet (MedDiet) on the cognitive functions among both the cognitively unimpaired and impaired elderly people. The methodology includes a literature review of full‐text, peer‐reviewed journal studies written in English and published in Web of Science and PubMed between 1 January 2016 and 28 February 2021. The findings indicate that the adherence to MedDiet has a positive effect on both cognitively impaired and unimpaired older population, especially on their memory, both in the short and long run. The results show that the higher adherence to MedDiet proves to have a better effect on global cognitive performance of older people. In addition, the adherence to MedDiet offers other benefits to older people, such as reduction of depressive symptoms, lowered frailty, as well as reduced length of hospital stays. © 2021 by the authors. <title>On Homogeneous Combinations of Linear Recurrence Sequences</title>

<description>On Homogeneous Combinations of Linear Recurrence Sequences
Hubálovská, Marie; Hubálovský, Štěpán; Trojovská, Eva
Let (F-n)(n &gt;= 0) be the Fibonacci sequence given by Fn+2 = Fn+1 + F-n, for n &gt;= 0, where F-0 = 0 and F-1 = 1. There are several interesting identities involving this sequence such as F-n(2) + F-n+1(2) = F2n+1, for all n &gt;= 0. In 2012, Chaves, Marques and Togbe proved that if (Gm)m is a linear recurrence sequence (under weak assumptions) and G(n+1)(s) vertical bar center dot center dot center dot vertical bar G(n+l)(s)is an element of(G(m))(m), for infinitely many positive integers n, then s is bounded by an effectively computable constant depending only on l and the parameters of (G(m))(m). In this paper, we shall prove that if P(x(1), ..., x(l)) is an integer homogeneous s-degree polynomial (under weak hypotheses) and if P(G(n+1), ...,G(n+l)) is an element of(G(m))(m) for infinitely many positive integers n, then s is bounded by an effectively computable constant depending only on l, the parameters of (G(m))(m) and the coefficients of P.

<title>A Systematic Review of Gamification and Its Assessment in EFL Teaching</title>

<description>A Systematic Review of Gamification and Its Assessment in EFL Teaching
Helvich, Jakub; Novák, Lukáš; Mikoška, Petr; Hubálovský, Štěpán
The aim of this study is to examine the satisfaction of EFL teachers with gamification platforms as well as to investigate how EFL teachers perceive gamification and its effects on pupils' motivation and learning outcomes. Five major databases (ERIC, Scopus, WoS, EBSCO, ProQuest) and Google Scholar were used to search for relevant studies. The study followed the PRISMA guidelines and the PICO framework. Inter-rater reliability analyses were performed for both study selection and study quality assessment. Eleven relevant quantitative or mixed studies were identified. The findings indicate that EFL teachers perceived a positive effect of gamification on pupils' motivation and are satisfied with the applicability of gamification platforms. The findings revealed that internet and technology issues and a lack of teachers' skills are the most prominent negative factors when implementing gamification. Further experimental research is needed to provide evidence of the EFL teacher-perceived effectiveness of gamification on learning outcomes.
